I'm thrilled with this cover, and delighted to be working with such a marvelous artist.

The cover art for Diplomacy
of Wolves, the first book of THE SECRET TEXTS trilogy, is by
British artist Fred Gambino, whom I believe will also be doing the
subsequent books in the series. I got to have input on this cover
from the beginning, though because I'm not a professional fantasy
artist, I made sure that I kept my requests to the reasonable. Lighter
sword, the type of clothing you see her wearing, the design of the
palace in the background (Galweigh House). The wolf wasn't in my
story plans originally, but I liked him so much in the pencil sketch
