This
is one of the few covers I've had that hasn't really worked for
me, and that was more because of the publisher's choice of scene
than anything. The book is about two female best friends who take
on an alternate universe -- there's one scene in the whole book
where the main character is out of commission. I would have loved
to have seen a picture of Jay and Sophie taking on the Watchers
in the wood, or escaping the Kin stronghold, or something strong
and exciting. To me, this looks too much like a romance novel/vampire
novel cover, and as such, doesn't reflect the contents of the book
at all. (There are no vampires in Glenraven). MY LATEST NOVELS |
